Vintage Set of Painted Asian Faces Masks
We have been collecting Asian items for many years. Getting up in years ourselves, and having children who have no interest in our collections, we decided to sell what we have, and enjoy the kids inheritance before they receive it from us.  A trip to China about 16 years ago by my wife, has resulted in a collection of varied items, most very nice, some even museum quality, so be sure to "favorite seller" us and stop back often to see what we are offering.
This is a vintage miniature box of painted masks, unknown date.  Box is 4 7/8" x 3 3/8" x 3/4" tall.  The box is covered in a patterned fabric.  Each mask within is about the size of an American dime and is in excellent condition.  The box closes securely with a small bone latch.  The inside lid of the box obviously tells you what each mask means, but it is also obvious that the writing is in Chinese.  I do not translate well, so you will have to do that yourself.  Very unique.
Has been part of our collection for many many years, time to now find a new home.

We try to ship within 24 hours of payment. Sometimes we can't, but we try! We use USPS almost exclusively. If you want UPS shipping, let us know when you make your payment. We charge actual shipping costs, and sometimes a minimal handling fee to cover packing costs. Use the postage calculator in the listing, it already includes the handling fee, if any, and will give you a good idea of total shipping cost. We will send you an invoice at the end of the auction and will usually offer alternative shipping selections on our auctions, you may choose the option that best fits your needs and budget.
