    Pairpoint Quadruple Silver Plate 549 3pc Butter Dish with Dome Lid and Insert
    - Stamped Pairpoint Mfg Co Quadruple Plate Bedford Mass - which dates it somewhere between 1880 and 1900 (when the company was renamed to Pairpoint Corporation)
    - Bottom is stamped 549 and engraved 2047
    - Has sticker on bottom that says: Colonial Silver Plating Co - Lacquered Do Not Polish - Nashville Tenn (appears item was professionally lacquered at some point in the past to help prevent tarnish and there are remnants of lacquer on item)
    - Rounded edge rectangle butter dish measures 8 7/8 inches long x 3 1/3 inches tall x 6 1/8 inches deep
    - Two small handles at each end, lid is removable, original tray insert is removeable, 2 side pieces can be used to hold butter knife (original intention) but the lid also fits there
    - Design on top is leaves and branches and extends across entire lid; handles, feet, knob top and knife holder have design accents as well
