Measurements:
Bottom Tray: 8-1/8" x 4-7/8"
Glass Insert:  6" x 2-3/4"
Lid w/Handle: 6-5/8" x 3-1/4" x 2-1/8" Tall
Beautiful silverplate butter dish/tray with fitted glass insert and lid.  The bottom tray is adorned with an ornate flower and flourish rim design. I have polished it and at the bottom of the dish there is tarnish and areas of metal loss (see photos-darker areas).  The glass insert is in great shape with a design that looks like light or energy radiating out from the center circle.  The glass tray does have one small chip on a long end.  The lid has the floral design that echos the bottom tray and the handle is created by two flourishes that come together in a circle.  The lid is in good shape.  Three sides are in great condition and one side (see photos) has a few darker spots of metal wear due to scratching against something.
