Honorary Medal of Labor, Type 1, Var 1 (screwback suspension, engraved number with Cyrillic "N") #977 , awarded 1944-1945.  Silver, enamels.
Only 2000 were issued in this type, rare.
Manufactured 1941 at the Soviet Mint.
Ribbon is original and lightly soiled but attractive and shows no fraying.
The screwpost has been reduced for convenience; the remaining length of 6.5mm is well enough to accommodate the original "Monetny Dvor" screwplate.  The connecting link is original and has not been cut.
