Map of All French Chateaux, Medieval Monuments and Renaissance Buildings Vintage

Description

The large 24 inch by 24 inch map is of all the Chateaux in France including Medieval ruins, monuments , renaissance buildings ,17th century edifices and 18th century monuments. It is a wonderful map because it displays where all these items are located in the entire country.  There are also two maps of 8 inches by 8 inches each. The first map shows the Chateaux in the Ile de France. This is the area around Paris. The second map shows the Chateaux along the Loire River which is south of Paris. There is an insert to describe the best use of the maps symbols and the distances.  Also a picture of the Chateau Chambord and Versailles are included. The names of all the items are included and the location on the maps as well as a written description  of the history surrounding the construction of the items. The brochure is in very very good condition and has no marks on it. I looked for a date but all I found was a note 54 edition. It may be made in 1954. However I do not  know for sure. What I do know is I bought it in 1957 in France. I am happy to answer any questions about this map and thank you for considering this beautiful as well as informative map.
