It measures approx. 5.75" x 1.5".  Condition is used, however ready to use. Not in original box.  This item has been stored in a clean, smoke-free environment.
Directions:  1.  Remove base
2.  Half fill receptacle with butter
3.  Replace base
4.  Simply press down and butter assumes decorative shapes
